Over 100,000 customers, more than 75 service types, İşNet continues to produce “Technology for Human” for a Quarter of a Century.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, İşNet, a subsidiary of Türkiye İş Bankası, continues to offer end-to-end solutions in communication, cloud, cybersecurity, and managed services with its wide portfolio of products and services. İşNet marked its anniversary with a special event attended by its executives, employees, business partners, and customers, under the slogan "25 Years of Technology for Human."

The 25th-anniversary event was held at Istanbul Swissotel on Monday, September 9, 2024. In his opening speech, İşNet's Chairman of the Board, Sabri Gökmenler, highlighted that İş Bankası had pioneered many firsts in Turkiye, stating, “İşNet was one of those firsts. It became part of an industry that evolves and transforms rapidly. At the start, providing high-quality and accessible internet connections was critical. However, İşNet managed to grow and diversify itself with different approaches and products. Since its foundation, it has kept up with the fast pace of change in the technology world, continuously expanding its service portfolio. As a result, our company, which started as an internet infrastructure provider, now offers a wide range of technology services, from data center services to security solutions, from network and internet infrastructure to voice services, from satellite communication to e-document solutions.”

Sabri Gökmenler also emphasized that they did not forget to contribute to society, saying, “As a quarter-century-old subsidiary of a century-old bank, we have been part of the 'Internet for 100 Villages' project. We delivered internet via satellite to villages without internet infrastructure and with limited mobile access. On this journey, which began with 100 villages, we surpassed that number due to increased demand. With completed installations and ongoing ones, we are now approaching 150 villages.”

Gökmenler noted that the Board of Directors closely monitors and appreciates İşNet's growth and concluded his speech with, “I would like to thank all our colleagues who contributed to our quarter-century journey. I hope İşNet’s successes continue for many more years and that it will move forward confidently toward becoming a century-old giant, just like Türkiye İş Bankası.”

138% Growth in 2023

İşNet's General Manager, Mehmet Fahri Can, emphasized that İşNet is a truly corporate technology company providing end-to-end IT services: “We have over 100,000 customers and more than 75 service types. Last year, we grew by 138% compared to the previous year. We became the number one cloud service provider in 2023, according to Bilişim 500, one of the most prestigious industry research reports. We are one of the few companies providing telecommunications, satellite, data center, cloud, cybersecurity, and robotic automation services. Moreover, we offer these from one of the best data centers in our country. Additionally, we deliver our e-document services to a wide audience. İşNet is a corporate technology company providing true end-to-end IT services.”

Mehmet Fahri Can highlighted the “Technology for Human” slogan, stressing that technology is not just about electronic circuits, algorithms, massive buildings, and robotic processes, stating, “We valued people; we worked for people with people. Today, with our 25 years of knowledge and experience, we look to the future with even more confidence. We continue to work, produce, and innovate with the same excitement and determination. I extend my thanks to the İş Bankası Group, which has supported and trusted us for 25 years, to our customers, and to our business partners. I also express my gratitude to my colleagues. Here's to many more 25 years.”

During the event, appreciation plaques and gifts were presented to 12 employees who had completed 25 years, 20 years, 15 years, and 10 years at İşNet.

The 25th-anniversary celebration was supported by İşNet's business partners, including Arena, HP Enterprise, Ingram, Netex, and TD Synnex.

At the end of the night, event attendees celebrated the 25th anniversary with a concert by Emre Altuğ.
